Had a lovely weekend at Mark Spencer Hotel. The staff was top notch and helpful. My room was clean and should I need anything, room service was always willing to get whatever I needed. The hotel is located in a great area for walking to restaurants and shopping. When I come back to Portland, I will make sure I book a room back here.
The Mark Spencer Hotel in Portland was a good stay. Compliments to the staff, because everyone I encountered was courteous and helpful. I stayed in one of the rooms that they have in the Washington Plaza apartments, which was maybe a 2 min walk from the front desk. The room was a studio with a fridge and stove and ample counter space. Overall, neat and clean. It was also very quiet and the bed slept great. Good location too, especially if you want to get out and walk around and explore the city.
Excellent staff. EVERY ONE of the staff has been top notch. Whatever we needed they tended to. Coming to Portland? Come here. You won’t be disappointed.

Do you want to experience Portland the best way you can? Look no further than the Mark Spencer in downtown Portland. Conveniently located in downtown in walking distance to many great restaurants and things to do. A HUGE shout out to Cole at the front desk who helped us upgrade our room and gave us incredible personalized service. We stayed in the suite and it was one of the best rooms I’ve ever stayed in. The staff was courteous, kind, and thoughtful. Loved the room and hotel location. Enjoyed the cookies, wine, and breakfast.
We have stayed here several times and have thoroughly enjoyed the hotel. It has great ambiance and delicious food! Can’t wait until our next visit!
