Mark Spencer hotel has the perfect location in downtown Portland surrounded by a ton of cafes, restaurants, breakfast spots, shopping, as well as a huge Whole Foods and the infamous Powell's books. Cole was very nice, friendly and fast when we checked in late at night and supplied us with the extra bedding that we asked for. We stayed in a few apartment-style rooms that had a comfy bed and pull-out couch, as well as a small kitchen and it was really nice to have a door between the living room and bedroom so one of us could g... read more
The staff was beyond friendly and helpful during our late check in. Super convenient location! You can walk everywhere and get around town with ease. The furnishings, beds and linens were very high quality and obviously well maintained. They had a fully stocked kitchenette and a pull out couch as well. Overall it was a great experience and would highly recommend to anyone traveling through the Portland area!

Five stars! The hotel was beautiful. Big king sized beds, AMAZING shower, and the coffee machine in the lobby was super fancy (options for lattes, cappuccinos, etc). They also had a great fitness center and a friendly staff. Given all this AND the great downtown location, I would highly recommend the Mark Spencer!
Great downtown location. You can walk to everything. Customer service is excellent! The employees go out if there way to help you..I have stayed here 5 times- the equivalent to about a month .. and I feel very at home here. It’s a great place to stay.. warm, welcoming, unpretentious. I love it here.
