The Mark Spencer is a wonderful small hotel centrally located in downtown Portland. Modern room with large bath. Very comfortable. Buffet breakfast included and afternoon tea in lounge.
The package with the stunning Master Suite, parking, and Powell's gifts + fun extras like chocolates & cookies during the wine reception and tea/coffee service all day combined with the stellar service by all of the friendly & helpful staff made for a glorious staycation. With a beautiful new remodel, the Mark Spencer is now our favorite downtown Portland hotel. Great staff, super convenient parking and very reasonable prices. Pet friendly, too!

Truly wonderful for downtown Portland. The rooms are large and amazingly appointed, and the staff is exceptional. Wine tasting, cheese platter, cookies, coffee and tea service, and a decent continental breakfast. I didn't want to leave. Hope I make it back on my next trip.
Loved our room. Staff went above and beyond. Beautiful old building with all the charm and character. The only down fall is the parking. It's a small lot across from be hotel. No valet service. But a fantastic visit! Would go back for sure!
Loved this hotel. Great location, so many shops pubs and other eateries within walking distance. And most important dog friendly. Wonderful staff. Will definitely stay there again.
A smartly appointed room with heavenly mattresses and linens. Surprising that the towels felt flimsy then. Our suite came with a kitchenette and even an empty growler, but no microwave or even tea kettle. We had numerous problems with our key cards until a young, friendly, maintenance guy finally got us in. Through the old fashioned key lock! The hairdryer broke down but housekeeping never showed up with a replscement. Thank goodness I had a hat!
