Stay far away from these people and the properties they own. I was an employee and a resident in their community, TerraMar in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida and have never seen such unprofessional and illegal acts before. This office is run on deceit and lies. My sink has been leaking for a year, it has been actively leaking into my floor for over a week. I have reported it several times and I was told they are off for 4th of July and can't do anything about it. There is black mold in the heaters and windows. My AC/heater unit has been broken for months. My oven hasn't worked for months. My bedroom AC caught fire at the plug and almost lit my bookcase on fire.
Poor property management. Corporate seem to not care about tenants, and good staff. There is a high turn over rate for tenants and employees. From the outside the apartments are beautiful but living in these properties is a nightmare.
I resided in an Apartment unit in Park Place of Northville MI XXXXX and regularly paid my rent to your office. When I moved out, after giving you 60 days' written notice and paid 2 months' rent as penalty for breaking lease. I left the apartment on 27 March 2019 and dropped the key at Key return box in leasing office and the same was acknowledged by Park Place Apts Management in email. This company is breaking laws with their Apartment policies all across the board. They refuse to address issues and hire inexperienced staff to manage their overpriced properties. They dont care about their tenants and refuse to follow Federal, State and Local codes. I suggest you keep away from their Real Estate properties if you want to protect you future after the contract ends.
If you are planning to give up on your money, the best place or company is this. Claiming your security back is been a nightmare. No answers, no response, no information. If you are lucky, the receptionist will transfer you to a machine. And if you are luckier that person will tell you that has no idea when your check will be delivered to you with arrogance and attitude letting you know that is not their problem.
Worst company. Waiting on a refund for over a year now. Contacted corporate and location office to still receive nothing, not even a phone call. While living at the complex, maintance and office staff did nothing but try to charge us extra.
DO NOT MOVE HERE! To summarize briefly, my roommate and I moved to the Cliffs @ 6th Avenue West in Golden, December 2018 and it has been a terrible living situation to say the least. Move In Day - Apartment is Unlivable - Note: This was one of the "Upgraded Units" Heat was out and apartment locks didn't work. We are currently living in one of their "million dollar renovated apartments" the montage! They are not NEW at all! I have pictures of just one of my NEW cabinets being supported with toilet paper and caulking!My first 2 months here the maint staff for the most pary do not speak English so our air conditioner went out we moved in here in August that was rough.
