Verified Renter Don't move here! While the location is great, the apartment complex is very dated and very poorly maintained. My apartment had items from the last tenets left everywhere. The dryer doesn't dry, the sink faucet leaks, the A/C leaks, there are bugs, the patio railing is bowed and cracked, cabinets are old and they don't stay shut, the refrigerator freezes things, among other things. This complex is managed by Cortland but owned by another company. It does not meet Cortland's high standards.
Verified Renter The Cortland Lex team are responsive to some issues and not as responsive to others. We currently have a stove that has rust throughout and we have requested several times to have this replaced. It does not cook/bake efficiently. Also, provided light bulbs are very dim.
Verified Renter The communication from management has fallen off over the last 6 months. Projects to amenities are not communicated till they are started. The pool has been closed for all of spring and has no record of being open. They mangement is not telling residents that there has been a rash or car break ins and a car being stolen off property. The gates are never all functioning and we will not have communication when they are broken.

Nice apartments and great service! This place has been nothing but amazing since day one. The apartments are nice, location is ideal and grounds are well kept. I do have to say the thing that makes it for us is Gary Hill in the leasing office. He has consistently gone above and beyond for us. Our mom lives here on her own and he is so responsive, helps answer questions, and manages to make us feel like she is in good hands. Verified Renter I have lived at the Lex for 6 years and have enjoyed it very much. The onsite team is amazing, the maintenance men are the best of the best. The grounds are lovely with many trees and room to walk. It has been a wonderful experience and feels like home!
