We first went to Lowe’s to look at a new dishwasher and were dissatisfied with the customer service in their appliance department, who even as we approached them three times appeared as if they couldn’t be bothered to help us. We decided to move on and went to Home Depot, where we were greeted quickly by Steve and given lots of information about their sale and dishwashers and then followed up with by Bob. Not happy at all with the appliance warranty company Home Depot has, this is the first time we’ve bought any appliances from them & this will be the last time we’ll buy any from Home Depot. Sorry but that company is awful the tech had NO idea what he was doing and tried everything he could to avoid coming to my scheduled appointment, If we had known about this we definitely would have purchased elsewhere.... now stuck with a 5 year warranty with them honestly don’t want them repairing anything we’ve bought
They need to get employees that know what they are talking about instead of just telling lies about their merchandise. I was asking if they carried linoleum and the sales person told me vinyl and linoleum are the same thing. When I said they are not the same he told me he has been in the flooring business for 25 years and that I don't know what I'm talking about. Vinyl flooring is made from PVC and emits toxins. Linoleum is made from all natural materials and have no toxins.
I went to this store today and to be honest, I’ve always been more of a Lowe’s person and never really had a good experience at Home Depot. That all changed for me today. I went to the tool rental today and was first met by Howard. Immediately I felt important and welcomed and in good hands. I then met Don and Bill who were also so amazing and reminded me of what it was like to talk to good people in the world who really just wanted to help. If you like receiving damaged appliances ... having to reschedule three + times , listen to the store tell you it’s the manufacture fault and the manufacturer tell you it’s the stores fault ... meanwhile still waiting for a washing machine I ordered a month ago! If this is the service you like- this store is perfect for you. #ShouldHaveShoppedLowes
Provide your employees with training.
There is no chance I will ever be shopping here again. I bought a new washer and dryer and they sent me the wrong washer and made it so incredibly difficult to get things switched and fixed that I eventually had to completely return them both and buy the same ones else where. I have never experience such terrible customer service in my life. I wasn’t asking for a miracle I just wanted my correct washer swapped with the wrong one. 3 times while shopping in the paint department. I was forced to move out of the area I was shopping for a forklift driver to do something. The place is busy. Hmmm customer service. Couldn't get my cart through the appliance aisle due to all the mark down Merchandise. Got to the end of one side and had to back up all to the end. That's could lead to a safety issue for someone with special needs or in a scooter. Hmm. Today you barely earned a 3!
Dear Lowe's, I wanted to buy a refrigerator today but you wanted me to use a 14-year old water line with the new refrigerator and also refused to install anything for me, saying, "You will have to do that yourself" so I refused to take your LACK OF customer service and went to Home Depot. I am getting a better product, with free delivery and installation, and I do not have to do it myself. Thank you HOME DEPOT for being customer-oriented! As to Lowe's....#@&#%$!
