As a replica of Bent's Fort, it's a cultural crossroads on the historic Santa Fe Trail. This area institution, which has been reviewed in the New York Times, serves up southwestern fare to everyone from lounging locals to heads of state including President Clinton during 1997's economic summit. Scrumptious servings of buffalo and elk tantalize the tongue. More traditional fare like salmon, filet mignon and even a vegetarian plate is also available. Open Monday to Friday at 5:30pm and at 5:00pm on Saturdays and Sundays.

Stay away 1 Star -poor can’t eveb begin to describe the worst meal of my life ... never have been so embarrassed that I recommended we go for the experience to guests from out of town.... should’ve known better when they call 2x about your reservation to make sure u come in.. 2 so dark the lighting that you can barely make out the menu , makes sense that way you can’t see what ur eating, because if you could you’d probly never sink ur teeth in it,foods texture and presentation looked like vomit. We were there on the 4th of july the food and atmosphere was amazing as usual however they have a cannon they shoot off every hour on the hour my Daughters were simply delighted!!!They are dressed in clothing that matches the age if the cannon i understand on new years they also shoot the cannon !!Its a must !this was our second visit we will definetly be returning not just any resturant it is in my opinion for special ocations !!
