As a replica of Bent's Fort, it's a cultural crossroads on the historic Santa Fe Trail. This area institution, which has been reviewed in the New York Times, serves up southwestern fare to everyone from lounging locals to heads of state including President Clinton during 1997's economic summit. Scrumptious servings of buffalo and elk tantalize the tongue. More traditional fare like salmon, filet mignon and even a vegetarian plate is also available. Open Monday to Friday at 5:30pm and at 5:00pm on Saturdays and Sundays.

It was a 5 star experience. The food and service was incredible and the atmosphere was fun and memorable.

Wonderful atmosphere and food was great
Haven't actually eaten there but attempted to while on vacation as it was highly recommended by family who had. Arrived around 6 pm after driving over an hour and was told that they were full and no walk ins available. Got online through their website and made a reservation for 7 and mentioned it to the hostess. She informed us that they were full and it wasn't a valid reservation and online just hadn't caught up.
