As a replica of Bent's Fort, it's a cultural crossroads on the historic Santa Fe Trail. This area institution, which has been reviewed in the New York Times, serves up southwestern fare to everyone from lounging locals to heads of state including President Clinton during 1997's economic summit. Scrumptious servings of buffalo and elk tantalize the tongue. More traditional fare like salmon, filet mignon and even a vegetarian plate is also available. Open Monday to Friday at 5:30pm and at 5:00pm on Saturdays and Sundays.

My sister and i took our elderly Uncle. They had the Buffalo steak and quail it was very good. In had the roast stuffed peppers. They were wonderful! A different combination of stuffing ingredients that I have ever had and it was very tasty! It is a little pricey.

I love the food! First time going and it was amazing
The Fort our standby for family celebrations in Morrison. The boys always love the sampler plate and as for me I think that the elk with the Huckleberry is out of this world. Also really think that the stuffed jalapenos with peanut butter or a treat. The new patio outside with a fire pits are delightful and the staff is always excellent thank you Eric

My wife and I have had dinner at the Fort several times and we have enjoyed each visit. The restaurant is very unique. The food is excellent. It is the perfect place to have dinner before going to the Red Rock Amphitheater for a concert. I recommend this place to all of our friends.

RecommendedService was incredible! Food was top notch. Drinks arrived in a timely manner. Very laid back southwestern ambience.
Stake was chewy and bland, quail was so so, veggie were under cooked. Potatoes were the best part. And everything was over priced. Atmosphere wasn't that great either.
