I chose Christ Hospital cardiovascular associates for a second opinion. first, the doctor didn't keep our conversation in confidence. He called my cardiologist before I even left the building. I heard his conversation with my doctor as I was setting an appointment. If I heard his conversation, so did others. On the appointment day, I woke up very sick. Christ Hospital Fort Wright used to be really great but now it's completely ridiculous. An inattentive and apathetic front staff set the tone and are more interested in their personal phone calls than the patients. The wait to see a doctor has gone from 15-20 minutes to way over an hour. Arrived early but spent that time and an additional 45 minutes in the waiting room, when I inquired how much longer it would be and how far the doctor (Kalfas) was running behind, I was given only a puzzled look along with a surly response "... read more
RecommendedI had a cystoscopy done. it was such a pleasant and wonderful experience. The doctor was running behind and the nurse came in and apologized. Everyone was so kind and loving. From my doctor, nurses, and patient transporter they all had a smile on there face and were there to help me. I will definitely go back there if I have to get a other medical procedure done.
RecommendedThe entire staff from the nurses the patient care assistants the housekeeping staff the transporters ( kudos for all the female tranzporters) I came in for a same day surgery procedure which went well. I had trouble breathing after surgery so they put the breathing tube back down. Great care of all involved. The only bad thing are the beds. It was one of those pressure beds that inflate and deflate and all you can feel is a metal bar running through the mattress
RecommendedMy son was born at The Christ Hospital this summer. The overall experience was wonderful. I loved the care I received from the midwives leading up to the birth. Having transferred from another office late in the pregnancy, it was important to me to feel respected. At each checkup, the midwives spent quality time with me. Additionally, they supported all of my preferences for the birth. My son was born without complications after only 6 hours of labor - It meant so much to trust my providers through the process!
RecommendedI have followed Jackie Martin,CNM to Christ hospital to deliver my forth child. The Midwives in this practice are nothing short of amazing. They are attentive and caring!
