This hospital is sad to say the least. As soon as you're admitted you're asigned a "case worker" who is really just a DCF worker who comes in, butters you up and asks you friendly questions about home life. Even if the reason your child is in the hospital has NOTHING to do with the parents. I'm referring to my child being born with fluid in her lungs. Dr. Ben Warf’s assistant hung up the phone as I was pleading to get help for my son: My 14yro son has been suffering for 3+ years from hydrocephalus with slit ventricle syndrome. We are really desperate and were overjoyed for his appointment scheduled March 5, 2018 at 11am with Dr. Benjamin Warf. With every experience I've had at BMC, the staff, nurses, and doctors are committed to giving excellent care. Love how the receptionists give papers on how long of an appointment to expect, the entire hospital staff members are always friendly, and the doctors/nurses/students want to make your visit a great one.

Everyone was so nice in the emergency room area. They took good care of my 6 year old. Our nurse Carlie was especially nice. Thank you all for your wonderful work.
One year ago today my son had open heart surgery at Boston Children’s Hospital. Dr. Mayor was my son’s life savior. There was little hope for him if he didn’t have have the surgery. Dr. Mayor came all the way to MGH where my son was to consult with us before his surgery. He did a surgery that most doctors wouldn’t do. Today my son’s heart is doing better than anyone could have expected. Dr. Mayor and Boston Children’s gave my family a Christmas miracle that we will never forget. Thank you for everything you do.
