So we applied for a house, AFTER calling and talking to someone about the requirements. We were told we'd just have to pay extra security deposit, but she saw NO reason for us to get denied. 2 days and $360 later we were denied... I would NOT have applied had I not been lied to over the phone about requirements. So $110 WASTED. They said the $250 hold was being refunded, but I am NOT holding my breathe after reading these BBB reviews.... scam artists

False advertising from the start. While starting an application online there was a calendar option to pick a date, within a date range, to move. I selected a date, and the application proceeded. After approval (with a perfect 10 year rental history AND good credit they wanted 1.5x deposit) I was told that I only had 14 days to take the lease on the property, cutting 9 days off the original date from the application. We rented from this company for several years after they bought out the previous company managing the home. Leases were regularly sent with incorrect information, ie. amounts and names of tenants. We chose to break lease early to purchase a home. I was proactive and called to get all the details and steps needed to make sure it went smoothly. Absolutely unacceptable. Our rental property had a leaking pipe from the water heater which resulted in mold in the home. We promptly notified Tricon of the issue and asked for resolution. Today marks day ******************************************************************************************* the home, leaving my small child living in a home with exposed electrical and insulation for several weeks after also having my entire family being exposed to active mold for more than a month. Horrible communication. Tried to pressure into a lease when they had errors on it. Horrible customer service when I reached a person sent me in circles on who was responsible

Be very careful with this company.Keep all receipts, emails and records of everything. Ask for copy of move-in-inspection when it is complete to verify it is accurate. On move out, take pictures to validate condition and ask for a copy of the move out inspection. We rented from them 2020 to 2021. When we moved out, we followed the move out checklist to the tee. I have rented from Tricon for 3 years now. My lease ended today. I was suppose to meet someone at the house for a move out inspection. I got there. I waited 10 minutes and no one showed. I called to see if anyone was coming and it took quite awhile to get in contact with someone. I was told no one was coming because they didnt know I was going to be there. I moved into a residence owned by a smaller Property ****************** in March of 2018. Tricon took over the property and purchased it in June of 2018. I must say that this is when things began to go downhill. During this entire time - 3/18 to 8/21- I never missed a rental payment. I had one late payment by one day because of a bank card issue (my error) in the entire time that I rented from this organization. If i could give no stars i would!!!! I have been trying to get my balance cleared since March of this year. Their auto payment system didn't take my payment and caused me to have a late fee which i requested to get removed. i then attempted to pay my rent with the amount i thought i owed but wasn't sure since they did not remove the balance owed in a timely manner which made me have to guess what my new increased rent amount was.
