The Bookstore Speakeasy is your portal to the 1920s. Behind a nondescript black door bearing only the words "The Bookstore," is a lively bar that hosts a jazz band several nights a week. The decor is in keeping with the theme, featuring vintage accents. Creatively mixed drinks are named with just as much imagination (try the Shirley Temple of Doom).

Very friendly staff, patient with our silliness, best cocktail menu I've ever seen.

Tonight however, I noticed that a bracelet that I had been wearing that night had gone missing. I called immediately to check if they had found it, and they had! It turns out that it just happened to break while I was at the restaurant. I could not be more thankful! It seems silly but ... read more
Great food, super atmosphere, but cooks need a course in food allergies. Got sick there twice and still had to pay for my meal.

I'm so sorry to read this! I would have happily taken care of your meal! I will pass this along to our chef as well. Thank you for letting us know!
Visited the bookstore this past weekend for the first time, friends of mine highly recommended it! I will definitely be back! The music was wonderful, service was excellent, and the food was delicious!! This is such an awesome and unique place!!
Really replayed the speakeasy part to a T. Great food, service and live music. Loved our night out here.
The atmosphere has that uber cool private club thing, but no one was snooty. Patrons and staff are very friendly. The cocktails were lovely - I had a gin aviator. We also had a small tasty cheese plate. Will definitely be back back for dinner.
