About this business

The Bookstore Speakeasy is your portal to the 1920s. Behind a nondescript black door bearing only the words "The Bookstore," is a lively bar that hosts a jazz band several nights a week. The decor is in keeping with the theme, featuring vintage accents. Creatively mixed drinks are named with just as much imagination (try the Shirley Temple of Doom).

This place was an amazing find for us. It was our anniversary and we were on our way to a resort in Bedford Springs. This was a halfway point and we were so pleased.

Concept was cool, atmosphere on point, food mediocre for price, drinks were good.

Great atmosphere, takes you back to the 20's! Enjoyed the transformation. Great cocktails, portions are generous, meals should be shared. Band was exceptional! All thumbs up!

Food was overpriced with respect to the entree serving; been there did that; there are better places in the Lehigh valley that are cheaper and the food is better.

One of the most unique restaurants in the Lehigh Valley! Patterned after a 1920's speakeasy. You definitely don't want to miss out on the prohibition era drinks from their bar, while listening to live jazz music after 8pm. The Bookstore Speakeasy is a necessary stop on your gastronomic adventures.
