The Bitter End

4.4

About this business

Founded in 1961, the Bitter End is New York's oldest rock club. There is no food served here, so you do not have to worry about the sounds of tinkling glasses and quaking crockery distracting the likes of Stevie Wonder, Neil Diamond and Bob Dylan. Over the years, a number of big name comedians have performed here as well, including Woody Allen, George Carlin and Joan Rivers. A brick wall forms the backdrop for all these acts, including many you may not have heard about.

Lady Gaga brought me here. It was great to see where she got her start. Best part was seeing her autograph on the wall. Had a blast listening to the live music

Nice venue, hadn't been there in a while. Strange Land is a GREAT band! They really did Leon's amazing range of songs justice.

The Bitter End is truly iconic and remains THE place to hear terrific music. Resident performer Fawn Segerson is a staple in their weekly schedule and every month for 20 years the NY Singer/Songwriters introduce rising talent!

I love the Bitter End in NYC. Great sound! Not a bad seat in the house. Lots of legends have performed on that stage for many years. This venue has alot of character from all the years it has been in business. My #1 music venue in NYC.
