RecommendedI went to Huguley on March 27th,2019 for pneumonia, I was taken back and hooked up to an IV in a very timely manner. I was moved upstairs and immediately being taken care of. The staff went beyond their job title to insure I was taken care of and comfortable. This hospital saved my life after Harris Downtown almost killed me by sending me home with a fever and the flu, I have an autoimmune disease and could have died. We had a very sad and unjoyable labor and delivery experience! Nurses are rude and very disappointed in having to conduct their positions as nurses for the patients. I didn't want to accept that they are judgemental and unprofessional but, they are! Having a baby there or any kind of care there at Huguley should be professional and smooth so the patients can heal and get well. I wouldn't reccomend any care from the hospital part itself if you have to be treated for anything because the nursing "some" are very unprofessional ... read more
This hospital has taken excellent care of my father & grandmother.
The entire staff beginning at admissions, and ending at discharge were all angels. The surgical staff was the best I’ve ever seen. 5 out of 5 stars! This place is GREAT!
Dr Shawn Sanderson is very unprofessional, took my wife in today because she had a blood pressure of 185/94 and a pulse of 110, she told the doctor she doesn’t have a problem with bp and he said “not even the other 2 times you had been here in 2014 and 2015”. Let’s see I am not a doctor but I can tell you that pain from a broken finger can elevate bp and yes an anxiety attack will cause elevated bp. The absolute best hospital I have EVER been in.
No way! This is the worst hospital I’ve ever seen! We are from California and have Kaiser, but because Texas doesn’t have Kaiser’s we took my mom to the nearest hospital. Not only were they very rude while checking her in. They made her wait a long period of time in server pain. Stay away from this hospital if you are from out of state! They treat you like crap!
This hospital was a great place to have a baby. I loved how everyone checked up on me if i need anything.
great hospital to be at and go to great people here I was born in this hospital and since then they have remodeled and it's even nicer then before great amazing and caring staff here
