my niece has went TWICE in the last 6 months to this place after being transferred from the hospital at home because “they could take better care of her there”.... FALSE.... HORRIBLE. both times... after staying the whole night, after my 1 year old niece have a poked on and just miserable... they said it was an ear infection.... her white blood cell count was 40,000.... well if it was, wouldn’t you see that when you first looked at her. RecommendedThank God for all the wonderful Nurses, PCA, Cleaning ladies, food service and of course its Administration on the 7th floor abercrombie building at Texas children's hospital. Because of there love for children my beautiful Grandson David was released with more than better health I thank God for them. You truly amazing people ❤️ I am forever grateful for each one of you.
The staff's are absolutely awesome.
We love TCH but I’m concerned about the current protocols. My at-risk child had an appointment today in the woodlands. The only screening done was a simple question regarding fever and cough, followed by a wristband. No one asked if we had traveled. No one checked our temperature. And while having only two entrances did make me feel at least a little better, one of them required that we go through the ER to get to the other side of the building or catch a ride on a cart that hasn’t been cleaned. I am recently retired from TCH having worked with a great group of ladies and physicians at the MFM Sugar Land location so it was very satisfying and comforting when I had to take my daughter to the pediatric urgent care in Pearland and felt like I was right back in my prior work surroundings. Everyone smiled, we felt welcomed, I could see they worked well as a team. They were friendly yet professional in a very reassuring way.
