Kevin swearingen is being kept from visiting his child who is very ill. This is not the type of action I expect to see from a world renowned facility. My family will no longer contribute donations to Texas Children's hospital. It seems the hospital administration is putting politics before parents! LET HIM IN.
RIDICULOUS! OVER 5 HOURS WAITING ON A DOCTOR & THEY ARE ONLY USING 7 ROOMS AT A TIME!! MORE WORRIED ABOUT WHO IS ENTERING & EXITING THAN THE SICK KIDS SITTING IN THE WAITING ROOM!! THEN A LOUSY APOLOGY TO MAKE UP FOR IT!

If I could I would give no stars!! After signing my daughter in and informing the front desk we were from out of town and had Louisiana medical insurance we were forced to wait longer. The insurance clerk made me give her the phone number to our insurance so she can verify our insurance. We then waited 2 1/2 hours and was brought to the back. The medical care from the nurses and doctors have been second to none. However, having some difficulty with the administration right now. Our son is being treated for cancer at TCH, and my wife and I are being forced into a situation that *increases* risk of bringing COVID-19 into the hospital (and also needlessly separates our family during the hardest weeks of his cancer treatment). We've proposed my wife enter once at the beginning of his ~6 week admission, and I join them once per week for 3 days- this was rejected. Inst... read more

The team of doctors are simply amazing at Texas Children’s Hospital! Our son Victor had his surgery here and we’re so grateful for the team of medical staff and his surgeon Dr. McKenzie have done for our son. I highly recommend this hospital 100% and wouldn’t have had it any other way. God bless them all!

The best care available. So caring, compassionate and loving. They cared for her until she lost her battle. They fought for her and with her. Because of TCH I had my daughter 5 more years.
