My daughter had a 4 1/2-5 hour surgery here yesterday. Dr Shenava is amazing along with all of the staff at TCH... I was overwhelmed and a little impatient but the were very reassuring... Defiantly a much better experience for us than Richmond Bone....
Almost over 6 hour wait to have an x ray read to tell us basically nothing. Exhausted and trying to drive home at 1:25 AM back home with a perscription for nausea for my kid. Pointless huge waste of time. Usually love this hospital, but the wait, when they couldve just read it and sent us home instead of waiting 4 hours is inexcusable.
The nurses that we had were amazing!!!! We loved Ruby and Jenna....they were really amazing!
Love this place. My kids have seen all kinds of different doctors here. Dr. McKay and Dr. Morris we absolutely love they have been great. They nurses are all real nice, and the staff is awesome.

Dr Joseph Allen in er said we were dumped on him. Dr Lo tried to release us but our son was still in pain, couldn't hold down any food and still wasn't having any bowel movements which was the reason we were there in the first place. Our pediatrician ask us to ask the dr at the hospital to give her a call but Dr. Lo response was she has to check on the other patients because she's about to get off of work. Long story short my son is still sick.
I don't mind driving to get the care we need. Especially when it is coming from such great staff. Every single last one of y'all made us feel at home. I love Texas children's
We were here yesterday because my son needed stitches. The wait was a little long but the care was amazing. They had a child life specialist come in and explain to our five year old exactly what was going to happen. She even stayed with us and entertained him during the process so he would be distracted. She anticipated exactly what he needed. They read I Spy books and she gave him a whistle to blow on if he felt like he had the wiggles.
