My friend took her 4yr old to the ER several days ago and was told by the DOCTOR that she had the “Pink Flu”! WTH? The grandmother took the child to her normal doctor the next day and was told she had Measles! What is going on up at that hospital? I would rather go to the vet clinic!
This hospital is amazing our little had to have her appendix removed. The team is doing excellent job of caring for her and for us! Everyone is friendly, informative and helpful. Thank you TCH
this hospital does not let a child's/family pastor come and visit....after a child was rushed in an ambulance after being resuscitated at 1030 at night because it is after hours.. guess children and thier families dont need their pastor.
I know Texas children’s has some great drs and specialists, so this recommendation isn’t representative of the entire hospital system, just the er department at the woodlands location. My just turned four month old (to the day), who was born premature, was having retractions, nasal flaring and head bobbing, wheezing with crackling and labored breathing at home. We had an amazing experience with TCH The Woodlands last week. Our doctor had us stay overnight for a procedure that could have been very scary and uncomfortable for a 7 year old. The child life specialist, doctors, and nurses were all so wonderful and turned a potentially very unpleasant experience into a special and memorable stay for my daughter. The day that we got home, she said she wished we could go back because everyone was so kind and caring....and for the toys. : )) We are so thankful to all the hard-working people... read more

after spending 71 days in acute care floor 5, they have some of the most awesome Nurses, Doctors and Volunteers. These individuals need to be praised daily for their patients, concerns, and ability to make the children and family feel comfortable. I cannot praise them enough.
