Do NOT go to this emergency room!!! I went with a friend and her child who had a broken arm. Over 3 hours and still they did not splint it, give her an ice pack, or have a doctor look at it. Mom decided to go to a different emergency room. In less than 10 min they had it xrayed and said it was a bad break and needed immediate attention. They were shocked that texas children's Woodlands ignored the severity and left her sitting in the waiting room without any medical treatment for over 3 hours! The bones had to be set. We took my youngest here for seizures. The ER was excellent! They helped us out greatly and got us appointments for an EEG and to see a neurologist while we were still in the ER. Another hospital pretty much refused to help us and TCH Woodlands ER were absolutely shocked at the treatment the previous ER had given us. TCH Woodlands has always given us the respect and care that all patients deserve and I am so happy for that.
Best ER experience ever! I brought my 8 month old son in today. We were greeted by friendly staff and immediately put into a room. All staff, nurses, and doctors were wonderful and explained everything and answered all questions thoroughly. Thank you Texas Children's Hospital The Woodlands! ❤️
