Waited, and waited with my 6 month old son in the waiting room of TCH The Woodlands for over 3 hours and never got seen. Went in for my son having bleeding from rectum, and still waited and waited. Yes granted there were probably others more severe than he was but, it was just discerning.. Don't get me wrong, staff was great in triage.. But being a worried mom it wasn't a easy wait.. Just left and will call his pediatrician in the morning.. Little guy was very tired..
They don’t listen to the patients. Refused to check blood and to do an ultrasound on my daughter. She was complaining of sever stomach pains and had the symptoms for over 2 weeks. They gave her Tylenol and sent us on our way. 4 days prior we were at TCH down town. The doctor told my little girl she would get cancer from X rays. We requested and were threatened we would pay for it out of pocket. I feel we were mistreated because my children are on CHIP. I changed careers and I’m 2 months away from having private insurance. This is a wonderful hospital with exceptional medical care and very much catered to making your child’s experience a good one.
My 6yr old granddaughter had,surgery here and then was,placed in ICU. I have never met more wonderful nurses, doctors, and staff than here. My granddaughter was,treated with the utmost care and respect. They went beyond helping us. Thank you for caring for my granddaughter , i recommend Texas,Children's Woodlands,very highly.
