RecommendedThis place is amazing! My daughter was treated so warmly and everyone we came across was super nice and helpful! They gave my daughter a little teddy bear and some crayons and coloring pages for her to use while she was waiting, it was just awesome. Very beautiful inside and out.

Staff was very helpful, caring and timely.
I took my daughter to get checked for possible appendicitis and they couldn’t see her appendix on ultrasound. They said she probably has a stomach virus come back if she’s not better in a few days. We left with her in tears in pain and they wouldn’t do anything. I have always had excellent experiences with Texas Children’s downtown but this was awful!! The triage team was great, but the nurse and Dr. were both terrible!!!
We came to the ER here from my son’s pediatrician for suspected appendicitis and that night he had surgery here to remove it. We received amazing care from check in all the way through discharge. Every single person we encountered was professional and caring to my son and those of us with him. The hospital was so clean and tidy and suited perfectly for children. My son was very nervous before surgery so the nurses, surgeon and anesthesiologist all took their time and spoke with him and answered all of his questions. I can’t ... read more
