Yesterday at 8 am was my sons surgery for the his left testicle(to be put in the sac) . He is age 4 and knew he was going to be seeing doctors and that made him worried his behavior was not at a normal behavior .He was angry.He was not listening to anything i asked.He hit me at one point in the waiting room. This is not him on the average day.My worries grew because i thought he might try to run away or fight off the doctors when his surgery time came. We went in this morning for ear-tubes, and we left completely satisfied with the system and care at TCH. The entire facility did an amazing job (the valet, administration, nurses, and Drs) from the beginning to the end. It's so hard to find this kind of customer service with empathy and concern. They took the time to talk to us, to check on us, and walked us to valet. I wouldn't have trusted anyone else with my daughter. Thank you for making this stressful ordeal not so stressful.
9th floor West Tower and staff is hands down the best oncology unit. You couldn't ask for better care or friendlier staff. Also the volunteers go above and beyond to brighten the kiddos days
I had to be at the hospital with my grandson and everytime we have been there the nurses and other staff members are great always smiling and talking to the kids so that they will not feel fear

I have had nothing but bad experiences with this hospital. They have been changing the plan on what to do with my son Evey time they walk in. They did this with not one but two of my kids; pretty much for the same issues. You know it's bad when someone with absolutely no experience in medicine tells a complete team of medical professionals how to do their own job because they can't decide on their own. No idea why this hospital is the recommended place to take children. They aren't any better than anywhere else but everyone ... read more
