Absolutely the worst experience I have ever encountered! 2 and half hour trip, because the GI specialist told us to bring in our 6 year old, 12 hour wait to be seen by anyone to only be given a couple of crackers and apple juice and sent on our way at 3 in the morning!! It will never happen again! This Hospital and staff need to reevaluate on how they take care of children. I will most definitely be taking my child somewhere else.

Inpatient care was good and continued care in the Clinical care center by sonny harpavat in the biliary atresia clinic is outstanding!!
We received wonderful care and attention, from the emergency room crew to the surgery crew and especially the recovery room nurses.
Generally, I love Texas Childrens. I have always praised them for the care they have given my children. The Rheumatology department, Physical and Occupational Therapy centers, and Renal care have always been polite and most importantly demonstrated compassion. So when my 6 month old starts having tremors and screaming in pain after his primary care office is closed, we go to the ER. The ER sucked we were told there would be a 4 hour wait and after we were there for 5 they told us we had a 8hour wait so we drove a hour for nothing we brought my daughter back home to the hospital in lake Jackson they took her right in cause she was a baby no questions asked and started taking care of her . But the other time we have been to Texas children's it has been awesome they took really good care of us

I think it's the worst children's hospital i have ever seen. They treat my family like crap and kick my nephew that is only 4 mind you out of the hospital where he can't be with his mom that he hasn't seen in 2 week's. I am glad my son is 25 because i would never take him there or anyone of my other small family members.
