My 13 year old was brought to the West campus by my husband and I on 1/29 after two visits to our local ER. Headache, back pain, and vomiting! The team of nurses and doctors immediately took him to an emergent area, the team took very good care of him in the ER and when admitted to the third floor the amazing care continued! This was reassuring especially after feeling lost and scared. They quickly put the fears at ease and gave us hope and strength! The people there where so great with my son !!! He enjoyed the nurses playing with him while he waited for surgery.
I'm giving a 2 star solely based on the employee's of Texas children's. They were the only pleasant part of our trip. My 10 month old had surgery here this past week and the experience was not that great at all. I will say all the staff was very nice but that is all the positive i have really. We live 4.5 hours away and in order to make our arrival time of 6 we left our home with our baby and 5 year old at 1:30 a.m..
