My 12 yr old has been a patient since birth due to many health issues. I can't say enough about the staff an care the kids receive ! Our stay this past week once again wasn't ideal for a 12 yr old but she once again was treated like a princess!! TCH is amazing !

Great experience. The staff were all amazing. I was very anxious about my daughter separating from me to go to the OR and they were so good with her she didn't even notice. She had a second set of tubes and adenoid removal at this visit. My only complaint would be they didn't call the next day to see how she was doing. They asked for my contact number to do so and it never happened.
ABSOLUTELY gorgeous facility. Very professional staff.
My daughter's live saving heart surgeries were performed at TCH. Her first one was at one month and the next one, the Fontan, in 1989. Wonderful hospital! Please wear Purple on Friday, Feb. 10 to honor all heart warriors and angels.
Dr. Heydemann with the Department of Pediatric Orthopedics is the BEST!!! He's done an outstanding job with my daughter and we love him!
we had day surgery and everything went smooth sailing. Very helpful and friendly people. My daughter was super excited to play in a office building. She was comfortable about what was about to happen.
My son and my daughter had flu like symptoms high fever cough sore throat etc they had us waiting hours for a room and when we finally gotten back to the back they only check they temp witch they did have one . they did not give any meds only Tylenol to my daughter they did not check For. Strep or. The flu they released us and 30 min after leaving i had to call an ambulance to my home to take my son to another hospital where i found out both my kids had the flu and had strep throat. nobody at tch bothered to run test or anyt... read more
I couldn't put into words what Texas Children's Hospital means to me! They not only saved my sisters life as 16 months old (she just turned 21 in January!) But, now my son (5 years old with a type of unknown Muscular Dystrophy) has to see many Drs' and each and everyone has been amazing and so helpful, even kudos to the nurses and staff!! Had an appt yesterday and my son needed to be scheduled for many procedures and this amazing staff member, called and got 3 out of the 5 scheduled for me.
