I was a teamster for 31 years, I was proud to be one! The rest of the industry envied our pension! Now I'm ashamed to admit I was ever affiliated with this organization. It's run by a bunch of thieves and crooked people and I wouldn't recommend it for anyone unless you like getting FUCKED!!!!

The UAW, Teamsters, united steel workers and united mine workers are all Domestic US unions that have 90% of their members located in United States of America. We contacted the IBT several times to let them know that we are not being represented properly by Local407. Tysons Johnson never returned any of our phone calls an we were told by our local that Gordan Sweden said not to expect any favors from the International. Now i get a letter from James Hoffa telling centeral states not to file a petition to cut the pention fund. Mr.Hoffa thinks we all have a short memory, when in fact it was Mr... read more

First year running with the teamsters. Thought it would be a good thing, but how wrong I was. Pay dues to say I'm union, but have no fighting representation. Instead I get told I'm being frustrating and just stick to how I'm being treated. Never seen a rep never a hand shake not even a sticker and now they won't even stand strong for me. So disappointed!
