Spent the afternoon with my dad's co-workers and comrades. The Teamsters Union is trying to cut my dads and the rest of the retired Union Guys pension payments by 50%-65%. My dad is critically ill and can not work to compensate for what he is going to lose. The current teamsters regime is once again putting the best interests of its carhaul membership to the side for politics .......... we want a new contract negotiators Now !!! We want Carhaulers on the negotiating committee ... We want a vote for strike authorization before you return to the table. Why is it that two locals that have the largest membership of carhaulers have no seats in negotiations ???? One answer Hoffa politics !!!!
Couldn't give 0 stars or minus them. Ashamed of the IBT with all the scabs at UPS/UPS FREIGHT. An absolute disgrace. Scabs working and employees laid off.
I am a Teamster and the current leadership we have (James Hoffa) being President has repeatedly sold the membership down the river by proposing and implementing concession filled contracts. In 2016 the time has come to vote Hoffa and his slate out. It's time to rebuild our union and stop cowering to these corporations.
Love MY Union. Quit bitching and bashing the union and Vote him out!
