According to information provided by the International Brotherhood of Teamster's Counsel, issues between a Union Member and their Local Union must be resolved through the local union's dispute resolution process. Should the matter not reach resolution, the union member would file a charge with the National Labor Relations Board. The IBT is a parent-body labor organization andhas no legal relationship with individual Local members.

I'm a Union Laborer Local 265 14 years and haven't had a problem. Would like to know more about being a Teamster. Had my Class A CDL's for 8 years, drive tractor trailer and other CDL trucks with pinal hook trailers and others for the company I work for. I like to drive big trucks so I'm just curious about being a Teamster. If I change trades I still want to be UNION. Some feedback would be appreciated thank you very much!
I'm glad to be a Teamster & happy to be associated with Local 79 in Tampa.

We have even thought to purchase seperatly, but have we not earned this as a household after 20 years of union dues paid? Sorry that I even have to post this about the TEAMSTERS. What is up ... read more

I have worked for two large National Unions and have never seen or heard of this crap at either place. I am appalled by their lack of interest in all levels of membership and ashamed to say i am a Union Employee to anyone that knows about this. UPS is operating an "organized" sweat shop with managers that humiliate and degrade t... read more
This union sucks, how could they let employees work more than two consecutive shifts and nobody say or does anything about it, give me a break union, now I get it.
