I bought a dump truck and joined my local teamsters. I couldn't get any work out of them...I guess I didn't grease the right palms or something. Maybe they just favor the big guys around here, because they got work. When I asked them about it, they told me to call the other companies to get work from them. I have my own authority and I still don't understand why I had to contact a competitor to beg for work.

I think we need to Organize a meeting in Washington DC Oct 31st . Everyone rent a car and take out the insurance when you rent the car, have a ride home other than your rental. We have plans for the rental when we get to DC, are there any Teamster Bus companies in DC willing to take a Stand?
