Since 1980, David Taylor has been serving up sensational East Coast-style seafood to eager West Valley diners. In 1985, he opened this eatery specializing in fresh fish from the eastern seaboard including whole-bellied clams from Boston and oysters from Baltimore. The eatery is decorated with a New England seaport theme. Some of the featured items include cod, clams, scallops, catfish, oysters, salmon, walleye; you name it and they probably have it either on the menu, or on their daily special board.

I had the fried Cod fish with steak fries and cole slaw. Everything was delicious!! The fish was perfectly fried and not greasy at all! Would definitely eat there again! :-)
It is a great place to get fried clams , Ipswich clams from new England ! Ask for waitress D she's wonderful & makes a great cocktail! I'm a regular
I'm from New England originally. I left 22 years ago and have lived in Denver and Phoenix since then. In the last 22 years I have not been able to find a seafood restaurant that stands up to the test and I've tried to find one. The most important items to me on the menu...fried clams...whole belly. They are awesome at Taylor's. Scallops, big ones...not west coast scallops... were so tender and juicy and of course the cod...superb! I cannot wait to try the haddock if they get some in. The New England clam chowder, fried oyste... read more
Our "go to" place for delicious food and relaxed atmosphere...........♥
We are from New England and were craving real fried clams - not clam strips. We were not disappointed. The clams were fantastic. A taste of home!
I was disappointed. For calling itself a chowder house, I expected a lot out of the New England clam and got meh. I've had better at chain restaurants. I had the stuffed flounder for dinner. It was okay, but covered in sauce making me wonder what they were covering up. The cold slaw was good. The water was not cold even with ice in it. Supposedly I had a fresh batch of the chowder at least that was what the waitress said when it took awhile to bring it out.
Excellent Sea Food. We had to drive 42 miles to get there but it was definitely worth it. There were 29 of us and the servers gave us excellent service.
It was amazing! The clam chowder was delicious, cheese sticks were to die for, lemon pepper tilapia was AMAZING! can't wait to eat here again!
Best clam chowder in Arizona. Excellent service.from Nicole. Big portions. The fried fish and shrimp are excellent. A must try for seafood lovers!
