Horrible for residents – Talis Management might make the HOA folks happy, but for residents it's pretty horrid. As ironic as it sounds, Talis seriously lacks basic management skills: coordinating, scheduling, communicating, and quality control. If you are retired or at home during traditional working hours, don't expect to ever be able to use your yard or other outside areas during the weekday. this site needs to allow a 'negative' star rating – If you are considering using Talis for your HOA management, please look further. I urge you to research other options. They are an extremely mismanaged company, completely unethical in addition to being unorganized. I can go on to list my personal experience and examples but I'm not given enough space here. Too bad they are full service? – I have to disagree fully with Zebedee's assertion. Having experience with HOA boards, Zebedee should be aware that the board makes the decisions to impose these fines. They are then enforced by Talis and allowed legally by the planned community act. What you rarely get is a company that is willing to go above and beyond to inspect and enforce. Terrible company with no ethics, in my opinion! – It has been said that you can tell a great about someone, by watching what they do when given a little power/authority! As a home owner living in a Talis managed HOA, I've personally experienced bullying by this company's representatives. I'm a quiet, respectful and tidy neighbor who had no problems at all with our last management co, for 4 years. Responsive, friendly, and KNOWS WHAT THEY'RE DOING. (so rare) – Manages my HOA. We've worked with two other management companies in the past and Talis is simply the best. They are responsive and knowledgable. That was 99.9% of what we needed and we could only get it from Talis! We are so pleased with them and after only a year, see a major positive change in our neighborhood.
