I LOVE my Extensions!!! – I was referred to CarolAnn by a friend of mine for extensions and color with CarolAnn, and boy was she right!! CarolAnn picked out 3 really cool colors to accent my personality and it was a perfect match!! I have recieved numerous compliments about my extensions! I finally found my salon! – I kid you not, I have been trying to get decent extensions for the better part of three years. I finally tried the Takamichi salon after some encouragement from my friend that a better look was within reach. Caroline did an amazing job. Thank you!
Best haircolor I've ever had! – My friend recommended me to Takamichi Hair and I recently had my hair colored and cut. I have never been so happy and confident about my hair! I have gone through many different stylists and have never been 100% satisfied with the results. The salons staff is great! The atmosphere is enjoyable and Tara is the best stylist there.
Best Haircut and Color Ever!! – I have been to many hairstylists in my day and have never been fully satisfied mith my services until I met Tara. She is absolutely wonderful and very skillful in her trade. The staff was very friendly, professional and the salon was beautiful. If you are looking for a great stylist and reasonable price then you have to check out Tara!!
amazing! – I have gotten my hair cut at takamichi hair about 3 times now, & everytime it looks fantastic. The entire staff is great, but I highly recommend Tara (she does great angles & layers)!

Great cut without frills. – I am the ultimate Ms. Skeptical when it comes to New York Citysearch ratings/reviews. After searching for a new hair salon to try, I read the reviews for Takamichi and wanted to try it. I ventured out to Great Jones Street (good area for window shopping with girlfriends) and almost missed the door to the salon. Takamichi hair on Great Jones street was the reason that I moved here. Carol Ann colored my hair and Melissa cut it. Carol Ann ROCKS! – I've lived in New York for the past 5 years, searching and searching for a salon and a stylist that I felt comfortable with.
