I have eaten ta o bueno at this location 5 times in the past 2 weeks. It seems like it is slowly getting worse. I went by today around 11 and got a number 4 and asked for 2 chicken burritos and they charged me for something other than the burritos and it was crao. There was hardly any chicken and too much lettuce. Then I stopped by again about an hour ago and got 2 wholotta chicken platter. Again the chicken was horrible. It taste like water only. I’m one of the owners. Sorry for your bad experience John. No excuse for messing up your order. There has been numerous complaints about the quality of the chicken. Corporate has addressed it and is coming out with a new chicken next quarter. Not sure yet when we will have it in the store. I will address the issue at the window. Thanks for the feedback.
A notch above Taco Bell in flavor and variety. Prices very reasonable and everything seems fresh. Not much of a line on a late Sunday afternoon, but starting at the buildings door, twenty-six minutes in the drive through means I won’t be eating lunch here. Will Taco Bueno put Taco Bell out of business? Definitely not.
Thank you for bringing to Shreveport . I know you can’t please everyone but I know how hard that is to do in business and most negative comments are from those who never tried. The food, service and staff are top notch. This Buenohead has sent dozens your way and all came back with happy reviews and salsa on their shirts.
The drive thru line was incredibly slow, then when we got to the window the girl there was more interested in talking to her co-worker and looking at her phone than delivering customer service. Needless to say, between the 2 of them they screwed up our drinks. The food was not good. The Quesadilla was very dry and bland. The tacos and burrito were too salty to finish eating.

Jared I'm one of the owners and wanted you to know we hired an ops manager recently whose sole purpose is to address the issues you mentioned at first. Our GM, my partner and myself sample the food often. I have yet to taste meat that is too salty. But we've had some similar comments. Early on we discovered one of our cooks was cooking too much meat at one time and adding too much spice. That has been rectified. Hope you can give us another chance.
Delicious. From the fresh chips and fresh salsa, to the mains, and on thru dessert. The place was super busy, as you’d expect the new kid on the block to be. But hang in there on those wait times. Because, in the words of Alton Brown...”Your patience will be rewarded. “
