Went Friday. Got there at 1020am to beat rush and food would be fresh. Been eating Taco Bueno since back 1989 from Dallas. Always good. Food not good in Shreveport. Beans runny no flavor. My burrito was just folded like a soft taco. No sauce on burrito. So I ordered another one. again no sauce. Been driving to Alexandria and Longview since I moved over here in 1996, just to eat Bueno. I will continue my drive. This made visit #2, both times horrible.
I'm a Bueno head from back in the day when I lived in Ft Worth, TX. It is just as good here too!

We have eaten Taco Bueno several times in other locations and loved it. Went tonight after being so excited and was really disappointed. First off we had to clean our own table off, there was no sweet tea, no napkins. I ordered the cheesy chicken enchilada platter. I had very little chicken, and a ton of cheese. It was like eating a rolled up tortilla covered in cheese sauce with Pico on top. My beans were cold, but the rice was really good. So happy to finally have Taco Bueno here in Shreveport. The food was good but I want to say thank you, thank you, thank you to Jerry and crew for taking care of my lost phone and thank you to the person who turned it in!

My husband went in the drive through about 8:30 Sunday night and although the line was long he and my daughter eventually got their food and were pleased (although Miss Picky didn’t like the cheese on the quesadilla). I met my husband for lunch Monday at 11:00 and it wasn’t crowded at all inside for at least the first 30 min we were there. Our food was great and I will be back!

Tonight was my 2nd trip to Taco Bueno. I sat in the drive thru line over 30 minutes tonight only to be told they were only taking cash and no cards. She said the system had been down for about 30 minutes. There should have been someone going through the line letting the people waiting know. Total waste of my time. Take a clue from some of the other fast food restaurants that go out to the line to take orders to help move the cars through.

I was so excited to hear about taco bueno coming to shreveport. I have taco bueno alot in texas and knew what to expect on quality of the food. Im not sure if it is bad because just opened week or so ago or if that is how it will be in shreveport. Queso was full of clumps and the chips were covered in salt. I got a nacho salad and a taco. The taco was so full of grease i thought i was at taco bell and not taco bueno. I was just disappointed in how the quality of food was not taco bueno consistancy.
