Do yourself a favor if you are smarter than I was and googled reviews first, DO NOT use Amerigas, we got talked into it buy our fireplace installer, but it has been horrible. LONG wait times when you call, missed appointments, sometimes you can log on from the computer and most times it is down. They don't come on time, our tank leaked, they put a lock on it and didn't return to repair/unlock it so we had to have a plumber come. NO gas for us during those weeks, so we switched companies and now they won't pick up the old tan... read more

11/9/2020 - Called three times... on hold for over 2 hours each time... NO ONE WILL PICK UP THE PHONE! I even tried the "emergency" option (on another phone while on hold), that call was on hold for over 1 hour and no one picked up. And they wonder why people go to others to purchase? Very frustrating.

worst outfit I've ever dealt with, they employ very poor business practices and view the consumer as a dupe to be taken advantage of. I'll never deal with them ever. no respect at all for clients.

Horrible customer service. Completely out of propane and you cannot get a hold of anyone at this company! Our location is in Orange County, Ca. Sales rep said delivery set for 1st thing Monday morning, it's after 2pm on Monday and we have yet to see the driver! I am currently waiting on hold for a rep and have been holding for over 25mins!!! If there is a better supplier out there for local propane, please advise

If no star was an option, that would be my rating. We are a small family run restaurant located in Bucks County, Pa. On a busy evening, all our burners suddenly went dead in the middle of service. We had to close our operation and not to mention the loss of revenue because of the irresponsible and incompetent business practices of this company. WORST GAS PROVIDER EVER! There virtually no way to contact a human being for customer service. Call wait times start at 90 minutes. AmeriGas bought several small local gas providers and left longtime customers with horrible service and no reasonably way to contact them.

Was supposed to get a fill between Oct 20-28. Never showed. Called on the 29th and heard I was on the schedule. Ran out of propane before they got to me. They didn’t even try on the 30th. On November 2 I waited on hold twice for an hour each. Told them the issue and they said someone locally would call me soon and that they apologized. No call, no propane. Waited on hold for an hour on the 3rd, 4th, 5th and am now on hold for the second time today, the 6th. They even put it down as a propane leak today so someone would show ... read more

Took us 6 weeks to get a tank set, then we could not get them to come and fill tank. We called 5 times within 2 weeks and they never would never come and fill tank. Worst customer service ever.

Carolane- Roxboro, NC I am legally blind and cannot drive. Caroline Roxboro did not answer their phone for me to request a propane delivery for a few days in December 2019. I know from the past if you leave a message, they may not deliver, and thus I have ran out. They prefer you to have regular deliveries, and I wanted to be on-call, since I was a renter.
