**This is a really long rant, but worth reading if you’re considering using AmeriGas** First off, I would like to let you know that I am typing this with my middle finger. Do not use this company! For the last 6 mos. they are almost impossible to get ahold of and the 3rd time I called, I called the emergency number and still was on hold for over 20 mins. If you order gas from them now you have to agree to a very unfair contract, they price gouge compared to other companies, add extra fees, etc. Today the lady I talked to wouldn't even give me her last name so I would have some evidence I called again to have their service terminated.

Do not do business with this company,!!! We have been trying to get money they owe us since September. We had been with another company but this company bought them out and it has been one nightmare after another. We had to call them several times to get their empty tank picked up. we were told the credit balance on our account would be paid 7-10 days after the tank was picked up. I have had the WORST experience ever with them! If anyone is looking for a propane company, do yourself a favor and pick ANY company besides them! When we bought the new house, there was a tank of fuel. Apparently on Oct 15th, they locked my tank. Ive never dealt with a propane company before so on the 16th when my hot water heater and dryer both stopped working, I just assumed I was out of propane. Though fully paid up, and without any warning, this Saturday afternoon, getting ready to cook dinner -- suddenly I have no propane! AND the company does not have any emergency contact ability -- I've been on hold, since "all operators are busy" at 7pm Saturday, to get "emergency delivery for an extra charge," for 30 minutes. Giving up. So all weekend, no stove. No reason. No warning. No ability to reach anyone. Terrible company. If I don't get my recent payment back, will file a complaint.

Worst company, no one answers the phone, wait times are 120 minutes and they keep mixing up our company with others on the construction site and send us their bill. I finished service last month and just received another bill. I am currently on hold to dispute an invoice and it's been 52 minutes this is ridiculous we should not have to be on hold this long. AmeriGas needs to close down for good.

Customer Service is fundamentally lacking. I have a local number for a dealer, but it sends me to a call center where wait times are egregiously long.

They should be sued by the state of California for failing to fulfill their contracts with their customers. I placed an order online on Oct 6, with an estimated delivery time of Oct 6-13. Here we are on Nov 12, ONE MONTH later, and I still have not received a delivery. I started calling the local office about one week after the ETD, and because of a permanent company change, the calls now go to a call center with no ability to speak with anyone locally.
