So right from the start Amerigas Customer service lied to me. I was never told that I would have to wait 14 business days to receive a Will Call gas order. They dont care if you run out of gas. This is the third time I have paid for propane and had to wait. Also if you get below 10% even though you ordered gas at 30% and they take weeks to deliver they charge you a leak test of $150. Which is fraud. They rip you off as much as possible. And they charge 4 extra fees per order that NO other company charges. DO NOT USE HERITAGE... read more

If i could give a negative five star I would. DO NOT USE THIS UNRELIABLE SOURCE FOR YOUR PROPANE NEEDS, WILL NOT FULFILL NEEDS OR EXPECTATIONS, YOU WILL BE LEFT WITHOUT PROPANE!!!!! This company is horrible, currently been out of gas and calling for emergency fill for five days now and yes I did say currently waiting. Can not get any honest answers from any cutomer service. Just spent an hour on the phone with AmeriGas asking that they send me my overpayment of 123.00$. Agent indicated that they were unable to refund me the over payment (miscalculated by their customer service agent when determining the amount based on the fill percentage) unless I switched propane companies. I would STRONGLY SUGGEST you look elsewhere for your propane company. I’m already looking to switch.

I have to say as an Amerigas customer for over 5 years it is totally unexplainable how they can not answer the phone on their customer service line. I have been trying to order gas delivery for almost 2 months and cannot get a response. Their online chat function on their website is essentially disabled. When you call customer service the automated recording for 2 months says call volumes are exceptionally high and wait times exceptionally long and then simply disconnects the call. Awful company. The employees are rude and untrained. I paid almost $900 and then they charged me an additional $371 and overdrafted my bank account. Then told me there was nothing they could do. I did not authorize this payment. I also did NOT authorize an online account being created or the representative changing my bill to auto pay. The one agent I had tried to say I was always on auto pay, but I have bills proving the contrary. Truly the worst service I have ever experienced. It takes hours of wait time to get someone on the phone and they switch you to someone else only to get disconnected. The price for propane is 60% higher than the competition. Do not do business with this company.

I’m beyond disgusted with AmeriGas operation. The company bought our local propane company who had human beings working for them. Customer service is not in AmeriGas’s vocabulary. These poor customer service advocates who have NO access to methods to resolve issues are taking the brunt of irate customers. I've written a narrative of each of my calls. Have been waiting for delivery from 12/22 to 1/1, did not receive have spent 8 hours on hold everyday since 1/2/21 trying to get a delivery date, was told it was expedited each day, promised delivery on 1/8/21, nor delivered, promised again for 1/9/21 still not delivered tank at 1%

Amerigas brought us a new tank (new customers) around 12/24, and we are still waiting for them to fill it up. Countless calls to them, and they say they will be here the next day, to which we are still waiting. Our electric bill will be very high due to running electric heaters and the oven to stay warm. This company tells you they will do one thing, yet does another while making you wait. This is no way to treat customers, especially new customers!
