Per their web site, our delivery was ordered on Dec 15th. It is now Jan 13th and the tank ran empty yesterday. I used their web site to update the tank status several times to reflect our actual usage. Once it got low and many calls where I was told that they were not accepting calls and spending hours waiting on the phone on other calls, I finally reached someone yesterday that promised a delivery by today. I wish I could give negative stars. Amerigas is a terrible company! Stay away! if you call you will be put on hold for over 80 minutes and listen to maddening music (hoping to drive you away). My last three calls I waited on hold for over 80 minutes and then heard a "click" as somebody picked up the phone and then hung up - every time! This company does not answer the phone so don't even try. If you do reach a representative they will tell you to place an order online. Worst service ever, I placed an order on the second of December and I was told it take two weeks to deliver. But it took a month, the I called to have an inspection and they won’t answer the phone.

Wish we could rate 0 stars. Just like everyone else, we are out of propane, have two little kids, live in the mountains so it’s very cold out now. We’ve been calling the amerigas office every day and each day we were told the delivery was coming. This is so disappointing. I can’t believe they’d treat their customers this way. Such bad business. This will be our last time using them.

This large greedy company boghtt our local propane company. The local company had adequate drivers and delivery was never an issue. Companies like this use covoid to close local offices so now there is no office staff To see in person , calls are routed to supposedly Ohio call center. I placed my order December 18th With a by Jan 1st delivery date. Well that came and went with no delivery. Woke up Monday, 1/11/21 to the house being 54 degrees. My 1.5 yr old and 4 yr old woke up at 5am screaming because of how cold they were. My son's hands were freezing and purple. After a couple hours of warming the kids up, and after realizing we were completely out of propane (even though we're on the auto-refill program), I had to get space heaters just to keep us a little warm, which cost an arm and a leg not to mention the amount of times these shorted out the fuses and once the whole entire house fuse. Please do not use this company and save yourself the headache. I have ordered from Amerigas three times since moving into my house in April 2020. Once in April, October, and December and each time they either deliver on the last business day because I kept calling or they miss their delivery window. Everyone I speak to seems to have a different answer as to what is going on. I wish I didn't have to give them a star at all. They really are worthless and they let consumers run out so they can charge you an extra $111.00 for running out ......really we call order and 2 weeks later have to call back cause they don't deliver and we get penalties worst part I seen a truck in my area twice in that 2 weeks. They do that to rip the customer off. Think about all the money they make in a month if they do this to all customers

Just spent an hour on the phone trying to get AmeriGas to send me the credit on my account....$123.00! Agent told me that unless I switched propane companies that the credit would stay with them and they would not return my money. It was their agent that miscalculated the amount I would owe for the fill based on the current tank level. All they said was that they were “sorry”. I wish Heritage Propane had never sold out to AmeriGas.....HORRIBLE customer service. Find a different provider if you can.
