I wish that your nurses were not in charge of so many rooms do that they could actually take care of the patients.

I have a crohnic disease, and I am treated like a drug seeker by the ER every time I've been taken there. I thought, maybe it's how I look. Maybe since I need a high dose of pain medication. No. My best friend broke both his arms and leg. Because his insurance isn't great, after surgery they couldn't get him out the door fast enough. I only withhold the last star mostly because of the checkout process. All hospitals take forever to get out of once they decide to let you go. Swedish could improve their process considerably. Telling the patient that they are going home early in the day without some form of expectation as to the time is just not great. Communicate the process and the time to family and the patient early in the day, but with a specific checkout time.

My husband has been on 9th floor mtu for 10days and has received excellent care. Everyone was attentive and caring. We travelled from another state for to see a specific surgeon and couldn't be happier with how things have been so far. All the negative reviews really scared me, I don't even feel like we could have been at the same hospital as the earlier reviews. Great job to the 9th floor mtu staff, thank you!
