We are Sunshine Urgent Care, here to serve Lakeland, Eaton Park, Highland City, Bartow, and all of Polk county. There is no appointment necessary! Our doctors and practitioners will provide you with excellent care in our state-of-the-art facility that performs X-rays, EKG's, Lab work, minor suturing, physical exams (including DOT physicals), and treatment of the common cold/flu on site. We accept most insurance plans, including Medicaid HMO's and Medicare.

Went in with my husband to have his ankle looked at and he couldn't be seen. No notice that they no longer took our insurance (was there before with this insurance with no issues) and offered a price that was almost $150.00. Being on a fixed income this isn't feasible. Instead of wasting my time going here, we should have went to the ED instead.

Both times that I have been, the customer service was great and they get you in and out in a timely manner.
Visited Sunshine Urgent Care on HWY 98 in Lakeland. Greeted by a friendly receptionist, quickly assessed by the nursing staff and ushered into a private room. Expected a long wait to see the doctor. Pleasantly surprised to see the Nurse Practitioner walked into the room less than five minutes after I sat down. Excellent care! Listened to what I had to say, quickly diagnosed what was wrong. Was there with my middle son doctor was very nice and cared about what we were talking to her about I wish she could be my primary so great really I did ask when I left even gave my son great care as well I love the hours not too many places r open till 9 every night I'm sure we will be back
This urgent care is AWESOME! I didn't have to wait and they took great care of me. If my family or myself need care in the future we will definitely be back! Don't hesitate if you are thinking about going here!
