I bought a 2011 avalance at sunset it had 50.000 miles on it i paid 33.000 for with warranty for life . since i have had it it has burned a qt of oil every 1000 miles or more . i tryed to take it in they wanted to charge me 129 dollars to look at it. I have looked it up and there is a factory tsb report about the problem needs a updated left valve cover and a afm sheild. It has fouled 2 number 1 spark plug and 1 number 4 .i posted this on facebook to sunset and they sent back a like .almost like they were being sma

I would never go anywhere else to buy a car or truck can’t beat it certified pre owned oil changes for life limited lifetime power train warranty

I bought a 2014 Suburban there in February of 2016. I got a decent deal. The sales portion was normal. My initial salesman, Tony, was great. Dealing with service is different. I got the lifetime oil change so I have to go here for free oil changes. Be careful when they tell you you need work on your vehicle before paying them to fix it. This last oil change my spouse brought the truck in for an oil change. They told her I needed new wipers and offered to change them. My son had a horrbile experaince years ago trying to buy a truck here. Here was his review. "Went to buy a used truck here. It was a manual. Took it to my shop to have it looked. They said the clutch need to be replaced. Tried to get them to fix it. They told me that my guy was horrible. They called him and I heard a one way conversation. I would have given 6, 7, even 10 stars if I could. Honestly, my experience with Joe, Jason, Buzz, and Dan makes me wonder why I had never gone by Sunset Chev previously. I guarantee I will be back, and I will even go so far as to drag my Wife down there so she can have some of that goodness, too. We called in to see if we needed to make an appointment to get one of our cars in for a LOF. We were told no, if you bring the car in first thing in the morning we can get can it done. We were asked how long can you leave it? We said all day. We left the car at 8:15, called at 3:45 they said they hadn't had time to get to it yet. I went in at four and literally waited until about 5:30 to get the work done. I guess a 15-30 minute LOF takes all day.

Bought a 2013 suburban in 2015. The sales people are great. The automotive dept is top notch. The manager is difficult when working to solve a quality control problem. The truck we bought was excellent however, the wait for car washes seems very long at 1-2 hours each time I try. I would definitely recommend this dealership.
