Excellent care from all involved, from the registration, to nurses, anesthesiologists, to Dr., to attendant who wheeled me out after procedure. Perfect experience, and this from a big chicken like me!!!

Everyone I dealt with at the hospital was very friendly and professional. I would recommend to all friends and family.
We didn’t even get a chance to be seen. I rushed my mother there because her primary care dr thought she may have a heart attack. When I walked in the door I asked for a wheelchair I was told we need your temp first. I said ok but she needs to be seen ASAP per her dr. Possible heart attack. A nurse slowly walked up and said I’ll try to find one for you. I said I can’t push it. Then I screamed “ THIS AN ER RIGHT?” “WHY IS EVERYONE MOVING IN SLOW MOTION?!” We left immediately. I cannot say anything negative about the hospital. All staff, regardless of there position seemed to go above and beyond what there duties were. They were very knowledgeable, helpful and courteous. Thank you Aiken Regional!

One does not expect to enjoy a hospital stay but despite the reasons for my being at Lakewood Medical Center I did. Along with very coordinated & efficient care is the kind & friendly atmosphere. Everyone from the woman who came in to sweep the floor, the person delivering my meal & the medical staff greeted me directly as a person . Obviously this is hospital policy that promotes patient well being & knowledge of how. Body Mind & Spirit relate to health.

Wife spent 2 days there and got zero help. This has happened on multiple occasions. She will NEVER go to this place again. My wife say there for a hour crying from pain, pushing the nurse button literally right across front the nurses station. As they laugh and joke about their life events. It took me going to them and saying someone help my wife for them to do something. THEN her grandmother gets threatened to get kicked out by security because she dealt with the same the following day and got angry. They have this chart in... read more
