I gave birth to my son here in April, great staff! they were friendly and knowledgeable, they answered all my questions and walked me through every procedure. I love their L&D department. no one got irritated at my endless questioning and they understood. I will definitely recommend going here.
Worst hospital ever don’t go there they are so slow don’t care about their patients at all ! Drive a little further and go to Mountain View at least they know how to put in an IV ... we are in the pediatric part of this horrible hospital had to wait 2 hrs before they could find someone who halfway knew what they were doing........SHAMEFUL!!!!
Just delivered my daughter via cesarean section on 6/16. We both had excellent care from labor and delivery, NICU and postpartum. I had my son there in 2016 and had a good experience then too. When we had our son we received a card with his footprints, so I thought we would for my daughter as well but we didn’t. My husband thought he remembered them doing them in the operating room but we figured he was either mistaken or it had disappeared when they moved the baby to the NICU. unless your visiting the pediatric side I would NEVER come here ! ! you sit in the lobby waiting never get a bed and the doctor come out to tell you your results in front of everyone 😷✋ OVER THIS PLACE FOR 18+
This is in regards to Summerlin Hospital and their Labor and Delivery department. Just some background information: i am 30 years old and am 38 weeks pregnant (38 weeks and 4 days). I have a condition called gestational diabetes that i am on insulin for. This condition complicates my pregnancy after 38 weeks by increasing my risk of stillbirth so it is important to induce right at 38 weeks to bring the risk down to a minimum. I read an post recently from a woman who had her baby at this hospital. It claimed assault and horrible things done to her by the nurses when she had her baby. But I have never been to this hospital so I wanted to see what others thought..... I found you also cut a baby and blamed the parents , you are rude to patients , ignore their concerns, doctors treat people horrible. You really need to examine your staff.
