I have kept my mouth shut for over a year now. Not anymore. I am going to be the voice that needs to be heard! I went in to deliver my daughter, little did I know I chose the wrong hospital. I of course was in so much pain I had to be wheeled up to labor and delivery so a kind ER tech wheeled me up and dropped me off at the L&D desk. I want to thank Summerlin Hospital and all the staff! On December 21st I was admitted, I was diagnosed with positive FLU. On December 22nd I was admitted to the ICU with Pneumonia I was 30 weeks pregnant and I had an emergency c-section due to me getting a septic shock, I was with 103 fever burning, I got intubated and was in the ICU for 12 days with a chest tube since my right lung had fluid. This hospital has the worst pediatric staff I've ever come into contact with! The nurses are RUDE & CONDESCENDING and most of them shouldn't be working in the health care field let alone on the pediatric floor!! I would suggest getting a handle on your staff before a lawsuit ensues. How dare they be anything but understanding, empathetic, and attentive. Maybe if you hold a compassion/couth seminar. My husband and I recently welcomed our son, Kaiden, into the world at Summerlin Hospital and I must say, we were so lucky to have the care we did. The staff was INCREDIBLE. We were there five days and the nurses felt like family. Huge shoutout to Lisa, Jaimi, Jessica, Maria, Amanda, Andrea, Shera, and Judy. These ladies were the ones who took care of my husband, son and I over the five days and it truly would not have been as great of an experience without them.
Very Credible Hospital & The Doctors & Nurses Seem to Really Care!!!
The nurses were so wonderful. The staff, specialists, doctors, and nurses saved us, especially during a dangerous, stressful experience when my pregnant girlfriend had complications giving birth to our seven pound daughter and she had to go into emergency surgery. My girlfriend thought she was going to die. She lost a lot of blood. The nurses were insightful, brilliant, well trained, and highly educated, they all took such great care of my girlfriend, while still taking care of my baby girl to make sure that our daughter's b... read more
