Cool salon, great service and the best hi lights anywhere in LA – Suburbia is a very hip place with fantastic, groovy stylists. Jennifer Nash gives the best hi light and therapy at a reasonable rate. Oh and did I mention that valet parking makes it easy! The staff is very friendly and they give great head massages:-)) I give Suburbia a 10!
A must for all girls with wavey to curly hair- Ask for Marcus Robles!!! – A fantastic salon!!! Modern without being stuffy and stale! Welcoming to all! I have wavy/curly hair and have been to every hair stylist from LA to SF only to have my hair butchered and hacked to end up looking like a fuzzy Q-tip or frizzy worn out hippie- This all ended the day I met Marcus. All talent, no attitude! – Suburbia is the hair salon you've always been looking for. Great people, no attitude, fun lively atmosphere and incredibly talented stylists. I've been going to Jennifer Nash for 10 years and my friends say I haven't seemed to age in that time. Her magic coloring keeps the gray away and looks completely natural. It's a bonus that she's a wonderful person who you look forward to spending a couple of hours with. Enjoy!
Love the Salon Katrina & Shawna are great people – When i moved from the east coast I needed a job .I saw this little sign in the window saying Manacurist wanted and Katrina gave me my first job in Cali . amazing hair extentions by Nuria – I've been interested in getting hair extentions for a while, so i made a few different consultations in some highly recommended hair salons to make sure i would pick the best person to do my hair. I finally got my extentions done by Nuria at suburbia and i am so happy with my long beautifull hair, she is amazing, i love the hair quality and she matched the color so perfect that i get compliments everywhre i go. MARY MARY MARY! – just gotta say i LOVE mary! after having experienced some hair trauma i read up about suburbia here on citysearch and called in with my hair troubles. the receptionist (who was VERY helpful) placed me with mary and i could not have been any happier!! thank you so much mary for doing such a wonderful color fixup for me, and i love my cut too!! mary's awesome! and the vibe in suburbia is so great too, i can't wait to go back for my roots!
