Dorit is a Dream – I followed Dorit to Suburbia when she moved from a salon that was much closer to my house and, quite frankly, I think I'd follow her just about anywhere. Even my wife of 28 years likes my haircuts and that is really saying something! Not only is she an incredibly nice person, she is EXTREMELY talented. Suburbia is a great salon and it's the caring staff that make it so. Top marks from me!!!

Dorit saved my hair color!!!! – After having a number of bad color jobs done I finally listened to a friend and went to see Dorit at Suburbia Salon. To start she was so sweet and made me feel very comfortable. She listened during the cosultation and took the time to ask me the history of what was done to my head!! great vibe, happy people! – suburbia's got an amazing vibe, everyone is smiling and happy. i LOVE my hair (tanya is my stylist)! it's just an overall great place to feel good . . . i recommend thursday nights (they have wine and cheese) and a dj (i think only once a month tho). they're even having a holiday boutique in the entire salon which i think rocks. anyways, this place is awesome and i highly recommend checkin it out!! good luck

Best Color in Valley, Best Price in LA – This is the best salon for highlights that I've been to in LA. Sure you could go to Bev Hills and pay $1000 for good highlights as well, but who wants to do that when you don't have to! Jen the owner is great, she's affordable and frankly I'd pay more. Its a super cool place, relaxed and they'll make you look gorgeous.

Good salon, choose stylist carefully. – I have been to this salon twice: once with Tawny and once with Tanya. Tawny was great, Tanya was the opposite. While everyone wants their own level of support/involvement from their stylist, Tanya just didn't seem to care at all. Hopefully she was just having a bad day, but I got a $20 haircut quality and experience from her. Again, good salon, choose stylist carefully.

Extremely professional. Stylists willing to work with you, original, and creative. Calming atmosphere. – I have been getting my hair done by a stylist named Tawny Perkins for over 7 years now. I followed her from her previous salon in Santa Monica to Suburbia in Studio City. I drive over 40 miles just to go to her. She is understanding and compassionate. Best Haircut Ever – I moved to Ventura county a year ago. I've been to 3 stylists in the Thousand Oaks / Westlake area and couldn't find anyone to give me a decent cut. Ever since I found Jen Ellenburg at Suburbia I can't settle for anything less. She has given me the best cuts I have ever had in my life. It's worth the 30 mile drive!

erin the esthetician is amazing!! – erin the esthetician at suburbia is wonderful. she put me on 'eyebrow bootcamp' because my brows were looking terrible and now than are so beautifully shaped . . . i love them!! her facials are fabulous too, she has such a nice touch and is extremely knowledgable and passionate about what she does. i highly recommend giving her a try - you will not be disappointed!
