Tawny nailed it! Great color, great cut! – My hair is blond on top and black on the bottom. These two colors can create a disaster if one creeps into the other's territory. My friend is a hairdresser and really incredible with color. She usually does my hair but she got a second job. Now, she's often too overloaded to fit me into her schedule. THE BEST BLOWOUT IN TOWN!!!!! – Ok Ladies....I know we all love a great blowout! For years I have been heading over to Beverly Hills once or twice a week to have my hair styled. NOT ANYMORE!!! I wouldn't go anywhere else Christine = genius – I have a lot of hair and have spent most of my life searching for someone who can meet the needs of the massive amount of thick, naturally curly hair (that's worn straight) so when I found Christine Short, I knew the search was over! Thanks to Christine I have more GOOD hair days than bad and I have someone who has no problem looking me in the eye and saying in the most sincere way possible, "There's no way I am dying your hair red!" Great team with Christine and Nuria – I've been going to Christine Short for years. She has always done beautiful work. Amazing color and highlights. When I asked her about extensions she recommended that I get mine done with Nuria and I couldn't be happier. I'm amazed at how undetectable they look and how natural they feel. These girls make a great team.
I'm not quite sure what the previous reviewer is talking about. You can't judge the entire salon on the actions of one stylist. Most of them are freelance and all of them are different. I have never had highlights as good as the ones given to me by Christine. If you want your hair done right then make for certain that you go to her. CHRISTINE ROCKS!!!
I don't get what all the HYPE is all about... – I'm just being honest so that others know what they're in for...but I went to this salon for blonde highlights and I just can't stand when I go to salons and they don 't understand that the color should start right at the scalp and not like half an inch away..it was just sloppy. It may have just been the stylist I got, but I don't know about this place...I have gotten even better deals on the prices at beverly hills salons too.
Tawny Rocks! – After dying my hair black for the last 7 months, I knew it would be a challenge to get these locks a lovely shade of brown again. That is, without completely destroying my hair in the process. But Tawny surpassed all expectations and made sure I walked out of the salon with a FABULOUSLY SHINY chocolate brown shade, SOFT & HEALTHY strands and a BRILLIANTLY flattering cut. She's a hair color genius and all of my girlfriends can't stop asking me about who did my new do.
GReat, GrEAt experience! – After ho-hum experiences at other "hip" valley salons, I found Suburbia (i'd only been driving by for months)!! I called them on a thursday for a Friday morning appointment (and amazingly got one!) I was to be seen by TONNY (sp?), a super cute, super talented, young stylist for a highlight, cut and blowdry. I have NEVER in my 10+ years of coloring been so thrilled with my color.
