My kids love this place. I rarely think that I'd like spending a day enjoying bugs at an insectarium, but it's always a hit with them and me. The addition of the butterfly pavilion is probably what will make this a more than once a year visit. Butterflies everywhere! Amazing. Great place, great experience and amazing staff. The kids feel like super heroes when we leave because they've touched a tarantula.
My son had awful bug anxiety and we finished his therapy at the Insetarium. Chris went above and beyond to help my son be comfortable. Chris is VERY knowledgeable and let my son hold the tarantula. I will be back with my other kid on spring break!
We had a great time! Everyone that works there is so nice and outgoing and very knowledgeable on everything about the Insectarium and Butterfly Pavilion. I highly recommend going here! You can really tell that the employees love what they are doing!
This place was amazing. Not only the large collection of bugs and the beautiful new butterfly pavilion, but the staff...the BEST. Every single staff member was incredibly friendly and amiable. Their love for insects knows no bounds and it shows! I will go back here again and again...it's well worth the trip from Delaware!
The expression on my Grandchildrens faces,said it all.It was awesome to see all of the thousands of different size critters from all over the world.We got not only see,but got to touch very large spiders and other animals.They have a great staff that works there,that will answer and question that anyone has.
We had a great time here yesterday, the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. They brought out several animals and insects for my daughter to touch and see up close. Great, low key museum for kids who are interested in science, animals or insects. The new butterfly pavilion is beautiful as well.
Such a wonderful find! My husband and I took our young kids yesterday (3 & 6) and we all had a wonderful time. I had no idea how much I liked insects and butterflies until yesterday. And all of the staff were so friendly and helpful. This place is a little pricey for us, but we'll definitely be back.
My husband and I spent three hours exploring and enjoying and capturing beauty on camera and video!!
Everyone in the party enjoyed it very much ( young old and teen ) the insect hosts and guides were passionate and helpful while keeping everyone interested and educating them. But the biggest winner was hidden through a set of blue door in the back of the hallway behind the gift shop. It was an extraordinary butterfly garden enxhibit!
